What girls say

A great table even when you come solo

N

Noor

Utrecht · solo

I came solo and was genuinely nervous. But there were groups and other girls who came alone too. Within ten minutes I was laughing hard.

B

Britt

The Hague · solo

No full group, so I went alone. I was scared I'd be the only one doing that, but that wasn't the case at all. Just show up and enjoy. It can be that easy.

M

Meera

Rotterdam · solo

I'm pretty introverted and went alone reluctantly. But it was mostly about the wine and the vibe, not constant talking. That actually made it relaxed for me.

S

Sanne

The Hague · group of 4

We wanted something fun on Sunday, but nobody could make it. So the four of us booked ourselves. Within fifteen minutes we were laughing like we'd been dining out together for years.

C

Carmen

Maastricht · birthday with the girls

Celebrated my birthday with my crew. I thought it might feel awkward with all the wine talk, but it was mostly laughing and catching up. Everyone immediately asked when the next one was.

SO

Sophie

Rotterdam · with best friends

Went with my two best friends. Exactly that dinner-out-with-your-girls feeling, without anyone splitting the bill or picking the menu.

NA

Naomi

Rotterdam · solo

My friends couldn't make it, so I thought: whatever, I'll just go solo. And it felt like dining out with fun girls. Coming alone is totally normal here.

E

Emma

Amsterdam · new in town

Just moved and I don't really know anyone here yet. Still had a lovely afternoon. Not necessarily to make new friends, just to get out. And yes, the wine was really good too.

L

Lisa

Rotterdam · with 3 friends

All my friends are busy with kids, so I booked with my sister and two friends. Okay wait… way more fun than I expected. No date polls, just Sunday afternoon wine and chatting.

FL

Fleur

Utrecht · with friends

Finally no more 'where should we eat?' group chat. One reservation, four wines, and an afternoon that just felt cozy. This is how we do it from now on.

P

Priya

Amsterdam · group of 5

Five friends, one table, zero stress. The wines were surprisingly good and we didn't have to think about anything. Why didn't we do this sooner?

A

Anouk

Utrecht · with a friend

I thought it would be very wine-y and serious wine talk. It wasn't. Just chatting about work, life, and the wine now and then. Exactly right.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come alone?+

Yes, and you won't be the only one. Many girls book solo or with one friend. We'll seat you at a fun table with groups and other girls who came alone.

Is this dating or networking?+

No. It's a relaxed afternoon at the table with wine, bites, and easy conversation. No speed dating, no business networking, and no forced small talk.

What is the difference between girls only and mixed?+

Girls only tables are for women only. Mixed groups welcome everyone: solo, with friends, or on a date. The concept is the same; only who sits at the table differs.

Can I come if I'm not between 25 and 45?+

Absolutely! 25-45 is a guideline, not a strict age limit. As long as you're old enough to drink legally and you're here for good company at the table, you're very welcome.

Is it awkward if I come alone?+

It's normal to feel nervous. There are always groups and other girls who came solo too. It's about wine, bites, and a cozy afternoon. No speed dating and no forced networking.

Can I book with my friends?+

Absolutely. Reserve for your group (two, four, or more) and sit together at your own table. Bring your friends along.

When are the events?+

Every Sunday afternoon, usually between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The exact time is on your table card and in your confirmation email.

Where does the tasting take place?+

At one partner restaurant, no route through the city. The city is on the table card. After booking, we email the restaurant, time, and practical details.

Do I need to know a lot about wine?+

No. Curiosity is enough. Our host shares context about the wines without turning it into a lesson.

Can I share dietary requirements?+

Yes. Tell us when you book. The chef adapts the specials where possible.

How long does the wine tasting last?+

The official part lasts about 3 hours on average. But honestly? At the end, lots of girls often stick around to keep chatting and order another glass of their favorite wine. Sometimes the afternoon goes so well that someone suggests dinner together. No obligation, but often a lovely bonus.

Can I order more at the table?+

Often yes: an extra glass or bite. Some partner venues also sell the full bottle of a wine you enjoyed. It varies by restaurant.

Can I cancel or exchange?+

Cancellations are not available. You can exchange to another date for free up to 48 hours before start. Everything is paid in full when you book. Email us if you want to exchange.

The story behind MyTable

Hi, I'm Elif

I've always been the one connecting people. Organizing parties, bringing groups together, making sure everyone feels good. The motto was simple: everyone should have a great time.

MyTable is where my two big passions meet: wine and good company. I noticed a lot of people, especially women, struggle to make new friends. So I thought: let's make that fun, with a glass of wine in hand.

No awkward speed dating or networking drinks. Just tasting, laughing, and meeting new girls on a Sunday afternoon. Cheers.

On the right in the photo you'll see Siraadj, my boyfriend. He handles all the technical stuff and camera work. No him, no working website and no pretty photos.
